I watched the show and found it extremely informative. It gave a huge platform to transgenders like theyve never had before. If you can't see that then you're dumb. Caitlyn was like the new student being educated and we were along on the educational journey.

Caitlyn is not a dazzling personality. Neither was Bruce. But thats not a reason for hate. Its a HUGE process she's going through that I dont think any of you can even begin to comprehend. To expect her to carry the weight of the whole transgender movement on her shoulders at this point is grossly unfair. Its enough she's living her own new life and she doesnt even know enough yet to fight the greater cause. But on the show I saw her trying hard to learn what the struggles were and do what she could. In some ways she's in a no win situation cause some expect her to be more active and others thinks she's overexposed.

But this is by far the most global exposure the transgender cause has ever had. As such its brought about more TV items about the issue and put it right up there as a big topic in the media. Thats huge. And for an Olympic gold sportsman to be doing this is truly groundbreaking. Definitely treading new ground which will make it easier for those transgenders who come next. Dont underestimate what good this has done even if it feels like overkill at this point. Historically this is a huge step forward. But Caitlyn herself does not have star quality. Few people do.
