I'm 21, and I have noticed that the new generation (10-16) love psychedelic, crazy and stupid things. Like very short stupid videos on vine and twitter that are over the top and silly, they like doing stupid crazy things, etc... Or is it a cycle? I think older generations always say that the new ones are crazy and stupid. Is it true?
The newest generation is very selfish and narcissistic. They mainly care about themselves and try to exaggerate qualities about themselves for attention. They think the world is very simple and have the solutions to all the world's problems. They are ignorant to the past and mainly deal with the present.
However, they are the most innovative. They are not afraid of being wrong and having their beliefs changed. They are pretty welcoming and are open to many direct challenges to culture and society.
We just have to hope that one day, that narcissism will translate to caring about the wellbeing of others.
No...every older generation thinks the new one is "too" something. The fact is each generation is new and unique to itself dont compare yourself to them.
