Well....her acting was better than expected for her first big role...but Madonna has won awards so let's hope Gaga can also get noms and wins.....for Madonna I look at movies like Swept Away and see how bad the movie was but she also has Evita which she was praised for...so idk if that was the best comparison....but anyhow....another day another slay for Gags!

While I think Gaga is doing a good job, I do think its a little pre-mature to start comparing her to others seeing that her role in Hotel isn't a huge stretch for her.

To be honest, I think both of them do a good job when it comes to acting.

I do however like the role that Gaga has more than any of Madonna's roles.

Neither are professional actresses. But I too was very surprised by Gaga. She herself is so interesting, she kinda carries that over into the character. Giving them a campy feel, and just attention grabbing in whatever scene she is. I guess that's why they are comparing her to Eartha Kitt.
