Drake: "Topping Hot 100 would be my Biggest Moment"
"I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from [Toronto]. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one," Drake posted on Instagram. "If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool.
"I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you ... even if it doesn't."
One key note: Drake has topped the Hot 100, but in a featured role. Rihanna's "What's My Name," featuring Drake, crowned the Hot 100 dated Nov. 20, 2010. As a lead, "Bling" has tied his debut hit, "Best I Ever Had," for his highest rank; "Best" peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 for four weeks in 2009.
I thought awards and album sales would be bigger than the success of one song...
I certainly don't think of my faves' biggest accomplishments being We Are Never Ever getting to #1, A Moment Like This at #1, or Baby One More Time the song at #1.

I'm almost sure he'll get #1 (and I think he is too, he wouldn't say this if he wasn't sure), but I think we might have to wait until November, the Eminem remix of The Hills has made it very hard to overtake, it doesn't look like it's going to free-fall like I thought it would.
