Rolling Stones' publisher wanted Ciara specifically for PIB
In a new red carpet interview for "The Last Witch Hunter," Ciara discusses how the Rolling Stones' publishing company and Lions Gate films reached out to her specifically and said they wanted her to cover "Paint it, Black."
Pretty impressive that the Rolling Stones' publishers thought Ciara was the best choice to cover such an iconic song. And they were right!
This is one of the few Ciara songs I'm in love with. I'm glad she got it. She should go the Dark R&B route aka The Weeknd. I would definitely buy an album.
