ATRL always seems to mock or think being bi is something made up for gays who don't want to admit they are fully gay. They always mock bi celebs (or ex) like Queen Jessie J and Miley.

ATRL? nope, most of the gay community has it, it's something common. I used to be one of those until I met a truly bi guy that made me change my mind.

Well some guys use bi as a crutch, instead of flat out saying gay. Also some say they will never date guys.

I used to be like that, but my current boyfriend is bi and made me change my view on it.

Because the world is biphobic. Anytime a man tells me he is bi I immediately assume he's in denial and then I have to make a concerted effort to shift my perception. The gay community is essentially conditioned to consider men coming out as bi as lying.

I never doubt bi girls, either. It's a problem for bi men.

Biphobia is a very serious issue in general, not just on ATRL, unfortunately.
Bisexual people aren't taken seriously.
If you're a bi female, you're 'doing it for attention'.
If you're a bi male, you're a 'closeted homosexual who hasn't yet accepted his orientation'.
It's saddening but understandable, since the aforementioned two examples occur all too often.

That said, of the LGBT, I feel like the B generally has it the easiest.

The world is racist, and I hear discriminatory stories about black people everyday. But I chose to not believe everyone else's perception and instead make up my own mind from personal experiences. Perhaps this notion could be used in your sense.
