My net worth is negative because I have student loans, and don't own anything, so I guess I'm poor Hoping this will change once I finish school in April.
My family is probably lower-middle class. It sucks that their degrees from their own countries meant nothing when they came to Canada.
Oooh the calculator seems interesting. I'd love to test it on my family, but my parents are so tight-lipped about their economic condition that I'd have no idea where to begin.
I know about how much property they own but have no idea about long-term finances or even their annual combined income.
Middle class, to my country's standards (kinda big monthly incomes for now, although credits taken in not-so-good past suck them out). I guess, in more correct language, we're all "poor"
That BBC test given applies my family to "standard working class", which sounds so USSR and somehow hints how this "middle class" does look in Western standards. (Although it's not-do-accurate - the only criteria to include me, for example, to "emergent service workers", as I checked, was rented property - which means they judge about my social & cultural relations only by the fact I rent flat or not - if I don't, I'm suddenly "low socialized 50 year old woman", like, wtf)
