I would love to see the low hanging heads and dumb found looks on the faces of all the critics when Ms. Jackson rises back to the top. She has nothing left to prove to the naysayers but all the time in the world left to entertain. I can't wait.

To be fair everybody in the music industry is flopping. Even if they go to #1 They dont sell as many records like they used to. because iTunes is so huge people can download whatever songs they want. but janet will be alright.

The Knowledge

I can see why Janet isn't doing as well. Damita Jo was really bland, with only a few potential singles. 20 Y.O, better but a try-hard attempt at another Velvet Rope. Discipline was mishandled, a good short-term album, but it was obviously rushed, and, hence, the problem plagued tour another badly handled Janet-venture.

I think ever since she let other producers such as Kanye, The Dream & JD do work for her, she's letting her creative side down and failing.
Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis were always meant for Janet and nobody else. janet was never meant to experiment with other producers and writers.

On a positive note, it seems now like she's hungier than ever before, in this era, to comeback.
She has broken the records, set the trends & wowed the crowds......Janet will always have her TRUE fans.

I just hope she does it right this time

She is irrelevant nowadays. The people of this era doesn't feel her music anymore. I mean, look at her Discipline sales.

I hate some of them too.. but not really "hate" hate, but the "don't like it that much that I'm so freakin' annoyed of their closed-minded-ness" kind of hate.

Janet.. she still have chance. She just have to bring back old creative stuff. If she wouldn't, then she should look for another side to show her creativity, innovation, and the Janet way back then.

Lol Janet Damita Jo Jackson will never be irrelevant. Perhaps a lot of "the people of this era" need to get their ears checked, since unfortunately majority of today's material features annoying, recycled beats songs that sound like they were made within a matter or 3 minutes. The music industry in general has lost its touch.

One doesn't need to have an album at #1 in order to have a #1 album.
