The republicans will most likely still control the House of Representatives after the next election, even if the democratics win the popular vote, due to gerrymandering. Nothing Bernie Sanders is promising will get passed.

Despite a lot of analysts suggesting Hillary won due to holding her ground - which she did, polls are suggesting people think Bernie won. I think Bernie will grow after tonight - I think he needed more exposure.
I think the greatest outcome for Democrats would be a Sanders-Clinton team up for the Presidential Election. Sadly, we most likely won't get it.
The encouraging part is the continued support of Sanders by Millennials, which means that like it or not, his progressive views may well become the universal views of the future Democratic voter within the next decade.

He's right about Sweden and the nordic countries, though. Always ahead of their time.

He isn't really promising anything though. He's been very realist when it comes to understanding that nothing can be accomplished on his own. He's simply stating what the problems are and what needs to be changed.

Strongly disagree with this, especially re: Bernie. Hillary will stabilize or gain a bit, but Bernie is the one who has the potential for bigger gains. The common theme in all the previous polls we've had was that, whether Bernie was Bernie trailing, slightly passing, or being considerably behind Hillary (while still closer than expected), in each and every single one of them that had the option, he had a massive chunk of "[idon'tknowher.gif]" options... Like, in some polls iirc, 30-40% of people had no clue who he was or any policy positions, and didn't care to look them up There's a reason people like he and O'Malley were practically BEGGING for debates, because they have HUGE ground to gain by getting EXPOSURE in the first place.

Yeah, I don't think most realize that a lot of people still didn't know who Sanders was.

This is true. The difference between Bernie and other presidents is that he isn't taking donations from the corporations so he can't be controlled by them. And he can make it his mission to change the status quo in ways that previous presidents wouldn't dare. He can have that freedom. And it will lay the foundation for the future. He seems driven to actually change people's perceptions on what politics should look like.

I'd even vote for Webb or Chafee over someone like Trump.

Maybe all of us can agree on that. There are plenty of people (like my father, for instance) who would sooner vote for the Devil than for Hillary Clinton.

And even if it was the case of "congress would not comply". That isn't a justifiable reason to vote for support Hillary . All presidents are going to have to compromise with congress. We know all their ambitions in their manifesto will not be succeed 100%, that's a given. But you should vote in an ambitious president with the best ideals, and then you'll get the best result.
And you most certainly don't vote for a flip flopper

Agreed, some people act like Bernie supporters think we're electing a king to decree all of his policies into law. Bernie will propose proper LEFT policies, which through negotiations will get moved to more center-left or in the worst event, centrist laws in order to get passed. Unlike Obama, for example, who despite his professed liberal ideologies, proposed center-left or already centrist ideas in hopes of appeasing the right wing, which got moved further to the right in negotiations. I mean, "Obamacare" was originally a republican plan, but the further dems move to the right, the further repugs do as well.
And in the worst case scenario they will refuse to work with him at all unless the policies are right-wing, but do you really think they will do any different with Hillary? Despite her being a "centrist" in our liberal bubble, Hillary is a far left socialist to the republicans we've unfortunately allowed into our government. She might get more center-right bills passed, but is that really worth it? When it comes to the core liberal issues, they will oppose her affordable college plans just like they'll oppose Bernie's tuition free college, they'll oppose either of their plans in support of black lives matter (naturally), don't even get me started on immigration
