How old are you? Beyoncé and Shakira were among the biggest female stars in 2007, the video was everywhere. BL was No. 1 in more countries than Telephone. Telephone sold more because 2010 was the peak of digital sales while 2007 was still the beginning of the digital era.
According to MT:
Telephone was the 8th best selling song of 2010 while BL was the 12th of 2007. BL has better streaming and YT, so it's obviously more rememered.
