Topless Justin Bieber and symbols of Jesus Christ: two things that just won't fly in the Middle East, where Justin's new album has been rejected for being too provocative.
Bieber's "Purpose" album is getting the bum's rush in several Middle Eastern countries, as well as Indonesia: predominantly Muslim regions. We're told the issue is twofold: Justin being shirtless, and the cross tattoo on his chest.
I think it's because to Muslims Jesus is regarded as very sacred and the cross is a symbol of torture. Muslims don't associate symbolism in a positive manner.(hence no paintings or portraits in mosques..
Just calligraphy)
Still makes no sense but w/e...this is what I got out of it lol
I'm sorry for the stans in those countries. Bieber should stop flaunting his religion when he acts the complete OPPOSITE from what a Christian should be, and those countries need to stop taking their national religion so seriously.
