I think others are going to assume you're just being rude/attempting to drag but actually I completely see where you're coming from - I've actually thought about this a lot before.
Like I see members with post counts of something like 90k or over and I find it bewildering. Before I've seen posters who joined over a year later than I did and yet have posted over triple the amount I have and I just wonder how people find the time.
Sometimes I feel guilty for spending time long periods of time on here, but some people really take the cake
I agree with you it isn't healthy, though it is sad in a way, this could be looking at it too deeply (and of course it doesn't apply to all of the high-posting members) but you do have to wonder what their life outside of ATRL is like... Do they have friends? Do they have a loving family? Do they even socialise?
But I suppose places like this are an escape for some people with not very nice lives and you can't really see that as a bad thing.
There's people that have joined last year that have doubled that and those that joined 2 months ago that will be nearing it before 2016 is complete - but of course they're not the ones focused on. I wasn't aware I had to be mentally unstable to enjoy this forum like everyone else. 
As for my signature, I just put that there for ****s and giggles/signature filler but for some reason people take it way more seriously than I expected.
