The era's over.

It can't be though. The album came out this year, and the first single came out almost a year ago. Their turnover isn't that quick?

There's already 3 singles from the album. The first was a slight hit on all formats and a fairly decent hit on rock radio, but the second two flopped. And this is their second non-album single release since the album came out. The era has to be over by now.

Both singles flopped hard despite Shots getting two music videos + a remix + ads + several TV performances. Roots failed to even generate any buzz whatsoever so I doubt their label would bother releasing anything else let alone promoting it.

Their best shot is to go back to their cave and come up with a quick little hit and a solid new album to go with it. This song is cute though.

To be fair, only I Bet My Life and Shots were singles, Gold was just a pre-order track with a music video. And Shots was never sent to Pop, just like On Top of the World, sadly. I think Roots was just something they wanted to put out while on tour.

This one is nice, for a great cause too.
