Janet and her "legend status" has been a big debate on ATRL today....
None of the current generation or the generation before it (basically if you were born in the late 90's and onward) knows who she is because she was blacklisted in the US after her Superbowl incident. It really hurt her catalog sales, no radio stations play her music, etc. If she's known as anything to the youth nowadays, it's for being Michael Jackson's sister.
