Basically, this. Rihanna has bigger numbers than alot of people (Janet, Beyonce, Barbra Streisand, Britney, Whitney, Xtina ) but she just does not feel as iconic or legendary as those people.
album sales comparison? "record sales" is the biggest junk ever, i don't see how people can lump singles and albums together without some TEA conversion factor to make the units equivalent. Not siding with either just curious
