Are Southern States underrated? There is such a beautiful and enriched culture of the South. Some parts are so simple. Plus the scenery is just gorgeous.

I love living in the South. People here are so sweet and laid back. I dunno why people are under the impression that driving through the South all you'll see are gays and blacks being beaten on sidewalks by white people clutching bibles or something.
Yes! Unfortunately there's a stigma surrounding the South stating that it's full of bigots, but I grew up in Oklahoma and some of the people there were the nicest I've ever met in my life.
