Even if she is administrating RDaily, she's human who can make suppositions. Why everything that comes from her must be legit? I mean, how does she know this one extract for sure? RDaily has links w/ official representatives - do you really think they'd "leak" infos from the process? I think they might just confirm or deny rumored ongoing projects - so, for example, the site could learn about recent artwork showing event and organize LA fans meeting. Or tell (supposed) approximate release date which was delayed (if it existed at all). Remember one confirmed insider (who leaked legit info about different singles before) was talking about "possible 2 Rihanna's albums in 2014" - referring to Home OST and R8. Or just share their own suppositions if they're not informed well themselves. Read like, if Rih keeps things in big secret.
Roy Nachum told they've met with Rihanna to discuss the project more than year ago and she was instantly "into" his works and "wanted this kind of thing" to her album (so, at least, she told him so). Roy also helped to design FFS, BBHMM, AO2 covers with Braille on them. He told their work on the cover took a year. How the "visual concept" could've been "scrapped" then? (they've started talking
a photoshoot first, then Demos came up w/ baseless conclusion about concept... I like him very much, but still I can't agree)
Paolo Roversi pic was posted even later than Rih started working with Nachum. Then, we had single covers. I don't see any sense in telling "she changed her visual concept". Maybe that Paolo Roversi shoot was intended to be promotional shoot - for tour, for example. For side album projects. For possible singles. So Rih wouldn't expose the body of work she prepared for cover... It was used in this year's concert promo.
What's more, we can't say anything about "[music] concept of an album was scrapped" that would be backed up by any good argument.
