This girl group has given lovely vocals in the past, but the performances they have given so far have been trainwrecks. Anyone with functioning ears can tell that.

Katy Perry performances have millions of views and standing ovations, despite her poor vocals. It doesn't mean that the performance is good.

It's not a comparison, it's an example that more views doesn't necessarily equate to a good performance. Their performances haven't been good and I stick by that opinion, regardless of whether it upsets you or not. You can however continue to believe that the GP never get it wrong and follow the herd.
