I don't think splitting into two rates would be a good idea. Including the 90s on girls is the only way we'd get anyone to listen to the older ladies. We could trim out some fat (Sara Evans, Gretchen Wilson, Anne Murray, etc). I'm not cutting Taylor, though. She's the big draw, and Her country-only singles are crucial to 2000s country.  |
Sister,I was just about to PM you. We'll do three rates of the Ultimate Country Ladies:
Rate One: The three biggest of the last twenty five years, ten songs each. Their biggest hits/most country singles, chosen to give them an arc. (So obviously Taylor her pop stuff would not come into play.)
Rate Two: The eight biggest classic country females, sixty songs. Dolly, Loretta, Tammy and Reba will get five each; Barbara, Patsy, Emmylou and someone else I just blanked on would get five songs apiece.
Rate Three: Everyone else. The LeAnns/ Lee Ann's/ Gretchen, Sara, Trisha, etc. That can come last obviously!

There's a lot of rates going on so I'l start the 2013 R&B rate once someone else is just about finished with their current rate. November is better for me atm anyway.
