I can't believe people saying Hotel had the biggest promo, have you not seen the promo Freak Show received. Now that was huge.

After the disappointment of freak show those numbers are still good

The first episode was a slay, the whole time Gaga had me like "KILL HA GAGA SLIT HA THROAT REGAL VAMP QUEEN!" it was truly good and the storyline is great so far.

When are the DVR numbers coming?

Coven premiered 142% higher than the Asylum finale.

People are primarily trying to say that Freakshow ending so badly made people go away.
So then the best season to compare would then be the other season that went down from the previous one, Asylum.

Coven was a slay; obviously it would be harder to go up from that.

To those saying "w/e, #2 FX ep evah slay":

Sons of Anarchy ratings include an ep with 5.87 million viewers, so that would be FX's #2 episode.

It also includes episodes that got 3.32, 3.19, and 3.11 in the 18-49 demo, which matters more, so those would be FX's #s 1, 2, and tied for 3rd highest-rated episodes there. The Hotel premiere got 6th place at best.
For overall seasons, FX's top 3 are Anarchy S6, Anarchy S7, and Anarchy S5. Followed by Coven.
