Disney would have probably marketed it in a better way and would have dealt with the controversy in a different way. Even though I didn't hear anything about it until I read it here, Pan will save some of its budget overseas since people outside of the US will literally consume anything these big studios release. This isn't the first time WB flopped with a huge movie like Pan, Jack the Giant Slayer was also a major disappointment.
