Sure, I'd say that if he loves me he'd figure out a way to fix it for me.
If that doesn't work or his breath is just naturally like that then maybe I'd just give him some mint gum & maybe breath spray before we kiss.
If he's willing to eat mints or brush his teeth once I asked him to, sure. If he refused and just lived in his stank and didn't care then no, life's too short for that
