1) I don't get the hate for Confident. It is good, even if it is not necessarily new for Demi, and it is the perfect album opener. Those horns opens the album to a huuuugeeeee kickstart. Its just a really good feeling!!
2) DEMI: The ballads in DEMI (except Nightingale) aren't lyrically the best (but don't get me wrong, I loveeee all of them). They are very very generic (don't kill me for this) ballad lyrics that hit close to home imo (e.g. "Maybe you shouldn't come back// Tired of being so sad | In case you change your mind// I'll be waiting here). Which is why a lot of people love it, because its relatable. But vocally, they're OK-ish songs. I have no idea why, but I really like I Hate You Don't Leave Me.

People say that Confident sounds dated. Not the hate for the best songs on DEMI.
Welp, I got my computer resetted and when I got it back I still had all my iTunes library. All, but my Demi discography. The fat deleted it
(I have her physical albums so it's no problem )
