Bombastic Love is one of the better Britney (2001) songs, though.

Songs on the album it is better than: Overprotected, Lonely, I'm Not A Girl, Boys, I Love Rock 'N' Roll, Let Me Be, That's Where You Take Me, When I Found You, What It's Like To Be Me.

Lonely, Anticipating, Slave, Overprotected are all 10s and deserve top 30. Shame the rest of the album is nowhere near as good.

Overprotected is so overrated and definitely not the business.

Anticipating, Radar, Kill the Lights, Shattered Glass, Lace and Leather, Criminal, 3 and Tom's Diner all need to leave ASAP.

Lonely is HEAVENLY. It went top 5 on the Essentials rate for a reason.

The real question is, why is I'm Not A Girl still in? A damn mess.

The way Britney sings the verses of Lonely is honestly a highlight of her whole discography. I will be mad if it's not one of the last remaining from the album.
