and the irony of anyone on ATRL disagreeing when 90% of this site's content is comparing women to each other in a negative manner. most of you don't know how to praise your fave without tearing another woman down like it's some kind of zero sum game. Men are allowed to be great together, whereas people act like one woman's success automatically means another woman's failure

However the Weeknd is endlessly compared to Michael Jackson, Adam Lambert to queen, Sam smith to Adele etc...

You just gave a bunch of examples yourself refuting her "point." Not only are male stars like The Weeknd, Usher, Bieber, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake etc, endlessly compared to MJ but females too. Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Ciara just to name a few from this generation.

A lot of the comparisons she is talking about stem from the petty feuds that most of these females initiate themselves into, a lot more than males by a mile. She really just needs to shut up.
