I don't think there was ever really a beef there. All Janet said is that what she does "has class," back in '93. And Madonna responded contemptuously as expected. But since then Madonna has said she loves "Doesn't Really Matter" and a remix of "Feedback" was on her iTunes celebrity playlist.

I think Madonna sympathized with Janet's Nipplegate backlash because she went through the SEX backlash. Although she probably got the satisfaction of knowing Janet's comments about being classier than Madge came back to bite her.

Well, we still don't officially know if Madge will be on the stage at all, so we'll just have to wait and see. I think that either way she sympathizes with Janet if only because Jan lost her brother prematurely.
