Mi Reflejo was horrible - aside from the fact that her phonetic Spanish recordings were mediocre (although not as bad as some Beyoncé or Jennifer Lopez tracks) she had absolutely no input into any of the songs on the album.
Pero Me Acuerdo De Ti SLAYS though NGL...that is the one thing I commend her for that she's done in Spanish.
I feel that you should make an effort to learn the language (and actually write songs in it) if you are going to release an album in said language. Anything else is just cashing in/exploitation on new markets IMO.

Christina and Shakira are neighbors now and Christina has her recording studio in her own home so I'm sure if there was a chance to collaborate it would be now that she's recording a spanish record again, you'd think she'd go to Shakira for inspiration and collaboration.
