Sturken & Rogers recently finished up production on a remix of “Maybe Tomorrow”, which will be included on Universal/Motown Michael Jackson Remix Suites. Other producers for the project include Salaam Remi, Dallas Austin, Polow The Don, Tricky Stewart, Rodney Jerkins, and Stargate among others.
Sturken & Rogers’ song “Gypsy” (co-written with Amanda Ghost) will be an upcoming single on Shakira’s new album “She Wolf”, which hits stores October 13.
The Saturdays debut album “Chasing Lights” recently went gold in the UK. The album includes the top 5 smash “Issues”, written and produced by Sturken & Rogers.
Shontelle’s debut single “T-Shirt” recently hit the 1 million sales mark in the UK. Shontelle is keeping busy working on her sophomore album. She was recently in Sweden working with Arnthor Birgisson, Martin Hansen, and Harry Sommerdahl. She has also been working with Frank E and Sean Garrett. Her first single will hit radio early next year with a summer album to follow.
Vita has been out on the road with Cobra Starship, Forever The Sickest Kids and Hey Monday. More dates have been booked for early October with A Rocket To The Moon as well as another run with Forever The Sickest Kids towards the end of October and into November. “Like Boom” is now available on iTunes along with “Get Out My Head”. She is finishing up tracks on her debut album with SRP, Sam Hollander and Dave Katz. “Like Boom” will hit radio in January.
Hal Linton was recently working in Los Angeles with Salaam Remi and Rico Love. And is close to finishing up the recording of his debut album, which is set for an early 2010 release.
The Urgency have been working on new material in Vermont and will be adding new songs to their Mercury/IDJ upcoming debut.
Rihanna is finishing up recording of her upcoming album, which is slated for a late-Fall release. She will be in the studio with Tricky & theDream, Stargate, Ne-Yo and SRP in the coming weeks.
