People especially people on here assume art or anything different from a Pop girl= Kanye.

Kanye had nothing to do with the artwork! Rihanna saw Roy work thru TyTy, he introduced them. Roy work is also shown in 1oak and RocNation office. Jay and Richie are also "friends" of Roy.

I just hope Kanye isn't gonna be constantly talked about/ credited in the album reviews by critics.

And it's a different concept from any Kanye cover.

Yes it's an artwork, Kanye also used artworks as covers but he isn't the only one nor the first.

So why you drop Kanye's name when he isn't even involved on the creation of the artwork or the introduction to Roy Nachum.

the funny part is, I think she and Kanye have only been in the studio together a couple of times lol I've said before, I think Rih tapped Kanye as the co-executive producer to help put together a cohesive album not so much to be there producing tracks and laying out the creative direction of the album.

That's actually the principal and most highlighted info we had about this album

And btw with an artwork like that + the Anti-singles she released so far + long break, the album is gonna be a review-bait.
I don't know if it's good thing or bad thing but y'all betta brace yourselves, journalists that never reviewed a Rihanna album before are gonna start with this one. If the album doesn't live up to the hype, she's gonna get slaughtered.

She has a low average of 20 critics per album on Metacritic while Kanye has 45-50 critics per album

That's because she's barely said ANYTHING about the album besides 'sooooon' lol that's why I think it's important for her to start talking about the album/the process/ and the sound before the album drops. Staying silent is such a bad idea. People need to know what inspired this new direction and I'm really hoping we get an in-dept behind the scenes look at the journey she took creating this album and she can bundle it with the album or release it on the eve before the album drops.

Nat said it isn't a surprise release. We're either waiting for a new single or for the release date. She could do both at the same time; it would make sense.

Idk, but she literally just said it again a few days ago after the album reveal. She's waiting for Rih to announce it so she can add the counter to RD.
