On My Mind was nice but a little underwhelming, but Something In the Way You Move is so promising. Hope she can serve Lights-era level quality with Delirium
For those who are waiting for the lyric video, sorry about the time confusion, they changed it again. It'll hopefully be released tonight, in 11 hours.
Ellie has been one of my favorite artists for a few years now, so I'm very excited about this album.
I felt very dissapointed when I first heard On My Mind, I knew she was going to release a more mainstream-oriented song but I was expecting something different, it's not terrible and I quite enjoy it but in my opinion is nothing special, anyway, I tend to feel dissapointed with her lead singles; I remember I felt that way with Anything Could Happen and it took me some time to really like it, Burn was good at first listen but I was expecting something better, after a while I ended up liking it a lot, I actually kind of disliked LMLYD at the begining and I think that it was after hearing it on the radio and so many places that I ended up liking it.
But now 3 weeks after, OMM has not grown on me
Something In The Way You Move is good for me, I feel like is kind of like a mix between Lights (the album) and Halcyon Days, I'm not crazy about it but it's definitely better than OMM.
I know that On My Mind gets a lot of hate, BUT it's such a freaking catchy song with effortless production . I just can't get over the breakdown at all
