Foreign language courses are compulsory and available in most countries. Which one did you take?
In the case of people who live in non-English speaking countries, have you taken a second foreign language? If not which one(s) would you be interested to learn?

Me, I took English from 7th to 9th grade before moving to the US, then in the US I took 3 years of French (like 6 courses total though) and now I'm in introductory Latin I love language courses

I took french from 5th grade until 12th grade. Lord help me if you ask me to speak it now. I can loosely decipher writing in french tho

I took German from 3rd grade until sophomore year of HS, so 9 years. I also took English from 6th grade until I graduated high school. And just last week I had my first Spanish class, which I want to take for at least 4 semesters.

I studied French and Latin at school (GCSE), and took French at A-level.

At university I studied International Business and French, and worked abroad for a year to develop my language skills to fluent level.

Spanish every year for 12 years, and the other day I forgot how to say "Hello."

I took 5 years german, 1 year of spanish, and 3 years of chinese. Now i am self-learning russian

French which I started in Year 8 and finished in Year 12, failed it at GCSE, got an E I did Spanish for 1 year passed it, only three of us passed the full course, I did Mandarin Chinese last year and I only found out that I passed it this year, with 149 marks out of 200, this was the HSK 1 exam and I am doing French again for a year. I would love to start Italian.
