********. Many people watch only the premieres and finales of shows live and watch the rest on streaming/downloading sites (legal or not), including myself, so obviously next week's social and viewing numbers will go down.
To compare, Empire's S2 premiere had 1.3M tweets seen by 4.7M people while Hotel had 0.9M seen by 5.4M. 16.2M people watched Empire's premiere, so considering Hotel won't do even half that, this is a huge deal for FX since Empire is one of the shows with the largest social media presence.
Ratings will be huge.
