I bet The Countess is keeping all of them there for specific reasons though. It also seems like they may be paying off debts/favors for her to get their wish. Which I feel is why Kathy/Sarah's characters are assisting her. The hotel is definitely under her influence.
The whole ghost thing? I think it's about the curse, but I also feel like what they're going to do is add onto the ghosts from MH and write some more details into what was really going on with that.

So far I think this is the most interesting opening for the series.
However, even though I was slayed by the sex scene. I'm not all that excited to see it again I do think the bed scene at the end with all the blood looked amazing though.
