Sam Callahan, the 2013 X Factor finalist has revealed that he will be releasing his debut EP on the 15th November. The EP features a lead track called Bigger Things which has been produced by American producer Troy Antunes, former musical director to Justin Timberlake.
Sam explains “Bigger Things is an edgy pop ballad. I wrote it after an argument with an ex and I was quite emotional at the time. It’s about how we shouldn’t let stupid, trivial arguments wreck something precious. It’s all about focussing on the more important and bigger things in life.
"They tried to change me"
"This release is so exciting for me. It’s been an amazing couple of years since I did X Factor but after leaving the show it was difficult to know which direction to go in. They tried to change me by turning me into a stereo typical X Factor clone and I feel they took away my edge. I also got given a lot of conflicting advice which left me a bit disorientated and made me question myself.
“But what I did know was that I have written my own music since I was 13 and I was determined to get it out there. Finally everything has come together and I’m very excited about releasing my own material. This is my own sound and I really hope people like its honesty.
“I've got stacks of new stuff in the pipeline and I’m privileged to be working with some great producers. I’m planning on releasing more music over the next few months”.

Yeah it's kinda sad that he'll just release 3 songs after such a long time.
