I don't get how people can say there's nothing to see in the UK it's so much older than the US and has so much more history behind it, there really is a lot to explore

Also been to Liverpool, Yorkshire and Manchester
When you go outside London you really realise how multicultural London is nnn
I can't at people saying there's nothing outside of London What about this historical cities like Oxford and Cambridge, as well as Liverpool which was voted the Cultural Capital of the UK. Not to mention all the beautiful things you can see in Wales and Scotland. London's great but as a Brit I think it's overrated, but that's probably because I've seen it and I think there's more fascinating things to see here.
If you want a vibrant multi-cultural metropolis with iconic sights, nightlife and culture - visit London.
If you want historic castles, palaces and cobbled streets - visit Edinburgh, or really anywhere.
If you want idyllic countryside with cottages, forests and lush hills - visit the Cotswolds or the Lake District.
If you want the quintessential Victorian beach town with fish n' chips and promenades - visit Brighton or Cornwall.
If you want sandy island beaches with turquoise water - visit the Outer Hebrides.
If you want rugged mountains to climb - visit the Highlands or Snowdonia.
If you want iconic natural scenes - visit Giant's Causeway in N.I.
If you want ancient ruins - visit Stonehenge or Skara Brae.
If you want theme parks - visit Alton Towers, Legoland, Harry Potter Studio Tour etc.
If you want festivals - visit Glastonbury, T in the Park, V, Reading/Leeds etc.
etc.
Then there are the things like Wimbledon, Ryder Cup and Edinburgh Fringe (biggest culture festival in the world).
