I honestly have a newfound appreciation / respect for
Dead Petz (and Miley) after the SNL performances.
I low-key hated it at first listen because I wanted
Bangerz 2.0 but I'm listening to the full album right now and it's actually a solid artistic statement. And Miley has way more self-awareness that I thought (booking small venues for the tour, investing money carefully to fund the project and releasing the record for free).
Credit where it's due. This is definitely not for you if you're looking for "bops", though.
