About Layla, could it be that she knew who Zeref was? She died so suddenly and given the whole history about the curse when Mavis killed Makarov's mother could it be the same with Layla and Zeref probably loved her too?

I'm pretty sure she can use it still, the CK did say it was now power for her. And I don't think he meant only for that fight in Tartaros, hopefully not anyway. I love the Aquarius outfit
Although I love it, I do hope she doesn't use Aquarius/Urano metria to win a fight again. It was amazing the first time, but it wouldn't make as big an impact if it happened again. Hopefully he has something cool planned for Lucy.
Layla died the same year as the dragons disappeared, so there has to be some connection somewhere. She also knows about the One Magic. I'm sure she knew about Zeref... There has to be more to her death than "dying of an illness" tbh.
If Lucy can use the powers of her lessor spirits like Hologrium to negate effects of magic and able to use it at any time it might be great for her. Plus we have yet to see her other powers. However, brandish may be my fav villain of this series so far besides King Jelllal
