So I'll be taking the MCAT next year in January and was wondering how other people have done on it? What did you do to prepare? How long did you prepare?
I started studying gradually in August/September, but really am beginning to go hardcore on it. My weakest topic is Biology tho.
becoming a med student in the U.S. sounds so tragic
why do y'all have to jump through so many hoops
It's not really much different than the UK.
The thing with the U.K. is that even if you have A*A*A* in your A Levels, you can still be rejected from all 5 universities you apply for. The MCAT in America probably helps distinguish between exceptional and average students.
i'm not sure, but isn't it high school to med school in the U.K.?
the inclusion of a pre-med trajectory feels kind of unfair, like, why set a huge group of students up for failure and disappointment?
Ugh...I did want to get my masters in Biology for a different job but I'm starting to fall in love with the human body. Totally considering taking the MCAT.
