It's probably an Alive by Adele situation where someone else re cut the vocals so the demo doesn't float around the industry and eventually make it's way online. I know the demo Britney got for Passenger is Sia's vocals ~~most of them still on Britney's version~~

Probably. Sarah is a singer too and she co-wrote BW so it wouldn't surprise me if she cut the demo vocal. It'd be nice to hear a mash up of Dark Horse/Black Widow/Get On Your Knees though with Katy's vocals. She should have performed it live once.

Yeah that's what I thought, the amount of songs she writes or the time she spends on making them is irrelevant to the quality of the songs, as evidenced by how she wrote less songs for TD + spent less time making it and it's a trillion times better than prism.

I also heard in an interview with Iggy back in 2013 or early 2014 that she really wanted Rita Ora on the album, so BW was the perfect slot as Katy couldn't cut the vocal and "Black Widow (feat. Sarah Hudson)" isn't exactly gonna be a smash it.
