Condoms break. They don't always work. You can wear a condom, but still get someone pregnant. Sure the risk is extremely lowered, but there's still a chance. Same goes to HIV/AIDS or any other STD. This goes to any sexual preference.

Even though this is good,everything has it's bad side. I can see plenty of people having unprotected sex with positive people and then go on a mission to get the vaccine

but jus because prevention is a moral way to avoid aids it doesnt keep them from looking the cure

Sometimes you have to wonder whether or not it's a good thing to be doing all these experiments. I mean, don't get me wrong, it would be GREAT if it worked and it could beat the virus and stop the suffering, but isn't there a chance that in the process they could accidentally develop an even worse and even more cntageous virus?

Sorry, I'm still pretty shaken after watching I Am Legend lol. That film continues to terrify me!

I just hope that if they find a vaccine it's safe and properly tested first!

That's fair enough of course but not every gay person is HIV positive

For example, if you had intercourse with another virgin, who had never touched needles, the chances of getting infected are (I think) 0% lol. So long as you're in a 'negative' monogomous relationship you're pretty safe from infection lol. So long as you can trust that your partner is faithful though...

Ya, if both partners are clean, it's impossible to get it. I hate the sterotypes of straight gay bashers who think all gay people have aids or you get aids from sex.
