The dust came first.

In a profound concept known of anti-time, the egg was created and went into a state of temporal flux. It started in the future and grew backward into time (i.e. Egg at 2000, chick at 1999, chicken at 1998). If we go back far enough, it would be dust. So it's not the chicken or the egg but the dust.
