This they are saying that from a regular person perspective and not from a business and more importantly music business perspective.
They are known as acts...and separate acts at that commanding different sponsorship, fee appearances and salaries.
I just don't see Gwen stefani, Timberlake, MJ, etc. trying to pass their solo and group combined because they disagree with billboard/riaa and most other outlets.
It's not enough to say they slayed in their groups and did well in their solo.
Well Billboard/RIAA >>>> stans that want to combine two acts in the music industry as one.
