And why does the flag flutter if there is no wind up there?

The lack of air resistance allowed for the momentum of the flag, originally set by the placement of the flag on to the ground, to last much longer than it would on earth.

$, plus it's not like it's 100% safe either. Why would they go to the moon just for the sake of going there & risking human lives?
+ I'm pretty sure I read we'd get there 'soon' though, like before 2020 or something, so be patient.

Could well be her, but I thought it looked bigger than that, like this pic above.

The perspective from that picture is different, it wasn't even taken on the surface of the moon. Plus you should remind that moon moves around Earth and there are times where it's closer to us

Perhaps she was further away, promoting the sun on the other side, thus was viewed smaller on that occasion. Global.

It did look freakishly small...this one makes more sense.

Different perspective, cameras, distance sis. I seen various photos of the Earth in varying distance. We don't see the moon at the same size everytime for example (although that's more due to the atmosphere).

Yes, yes, I thought of that and edited my post.
Not disagreeing it's not Earth, just hoped it would be something else.

If those photos were all taken on the same day, I'd then like someone to explain why Earth looks bigger on one image and smaller on two others. All taken at the same moon landing. Space is really fascinating to me and I'd like to know the answer.
The moon only orbits Earth 13 times a year. How long were they in space for, 18 months?

Sis, they were also taking pics from within the space shuttle, while living Earth and all the way to the moment they arrived to the moon

Inception.

What if the Earth is to the Moon what the Moon is to the Earth though.

Jupiter is 588,000,000 km away from Earth, while the moon is only 384,400 km from Earth.
Stay in school girls. Or at least Google it.

The big pictures of Earth were from the ship, not the moon...

So you too think these pics are fake / don't decipt the real size of Earth from there?
