Krucial who is producing Alicia's first single (he did the majority of her past albums) confirmed on Twitter that Alicia WILL be performing with Jay-Z (probably "Empire State Of Mind" off his new album The Blueprint 3) at the MTV Video Music Awards and that her single will be premiering soon after.
