I got an iPad mini because it was easier to carry around than my old laptop and it was better for stuff like Netflix than my phone. I use it mostly when i'm at someone else's house/on holiday/in the car.

See, I can understand why you'd have an iPad if you only have a desktop. Especially since the iPad Pro is coming out soon.

iPads are kind of convenient, I guess. It certainly never hurts to have extra technology laying around. I just don't know if I can justify the $300-400+ price when I have an iPhone (an iPad is basically just a big iPhone) and I have a larger portable device in my MacBook.
I guess I'm answering my own question. I think I know the answer, but I'm just trying to convince myself that I'm making the right decision, because I am tempted to get another iPad...
