Not public toilets, but my old high school had all the doors removed from the toilet stalls because people kept being... messy

At my old high school yeah. None of the boy's bathrooms had doors on the stalls. Hell, there where two bathrooms where there was no stall just a toilet out in the open. If I recall correctly the doors were taken down in the first place because they kept getting vandalized. Apparently this wasn't a problem for girls as I believe none of their toilets didn't have doors. They have doors now though as my school started going under a massive remodel starting the year after I left.

I stumbled upon one yesterday and did not use it.

I'm more likely to stumble across a bathroom with no soap or paper towels than a bathroom with no partition walls/doors

I think almost every beach bathroom in SoCal is like this.

I saw a public restroom in China in a documentary. They didn't even have walls or anything just some toilets on the floor, not like the ones we have here in the West, and they were really close
