I have no idea what it is but I know it's led to female video game developers commiting suicide and receiving death threats. It also apparently has some sort of association to the mass oregon community college shootings :S

I tried to use it once but it was so confusing. They have a particular language and way of communicating that I cannot associate with.

I use /a/, /b/, /mu/ (supposedly alot of ATRLers came from there d; ) /y/ /hm/ & /cm/, I used to use /pol/ though for the games

Don't talk bad about them. They've been known to attack forums that drag them.

I've been around forums since I was 14 or so and they will take down a website with quickness if you speak ill of them.
