Gaga had to continue living in her studio apartment in the lower east side infested with pregnant cockroaches. Gaga once said that while she was cooking spaghetti and meatballs in her apartment, a huge pregnant water bug fell onto the tomato pot that was boiling and she screamed. She was on a low budget, had to eat ramen noodle soup for days and reuse her tampons allbecause the GP didn't appreciate the soulful songs on Red & Blue. Thankfully Interscope signed her and released The Shame.
