Cyndi Lauper has memorable songs unlike Gaga though. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun/Time After Time/True Colours are pretty well remembered and get pretty good recurrent sales/streams/airplay

Yeah but Madonna remained successful longer. Gaga on the other hand was successful for the shortest amount of time and has the worst recurrent stats, she has the worst of both worlds basically. A fad, so to speak
