I feel like Max is going to be that character that nobody pays attention to but should be payed attention to. Like an omniscient character - Omniscience /ɒmˈnɪʃəns/, mainly in religion, is the capacity to know everything that there is to know. - like Addie from Season 1. Not quite a villain, but someone who instigates disaster.

I don't know if Max will be a villain, but I also have a feeling he won't be just stuck in a matress he'll have some significant role (i mean at least won't be killed in 2 episodes)
